A Common Thread

A Common Thread is a project in development for 2027. Its aim is to connect Texas growers, makers and schoolchildren through chocolate and confectionery.

The plan is to begin in Austin, following an ingredient from the place it grows to the things we can make with it.

Through school visits, demonstrations and illustrated learning materials, children would be invited to ask questions, explore flavor and discover how ingredients transform. Honey into caramel. Pecans into praline. Seasonal fruit into a chocolate filling.

The intention is to start small, learn from each class and build lasting relationships with the communities the project hopes to serve.
